1 in 8 women will get breast cancer, but you can do something about it.
The Know Your Lemons at Work education program promotes early detection through self-exam and mammograms to save lives and reduce costly treatment every year.
Learn how the program works by watching the video below:
Breast cancer has an excellent survival rate when found early, but not everyone knows what they should be doing to improve early detection for themselves and those they care about.
Breast cancer can also make an impact on the business aspects of the company, in healthcare costs and lost work time every year.
Here are the average stats for a company insuring 10,000 women:*
1,250 will be diagnosed with breast cancer
625 will be diagnosed before age 64
16 will be diagnosed each year during a 40-year career (on average)
If just one person is diagnosed in stage 1 or 2 instead of 3 or 4, the survivorship increase is substantial! There is also a dramatic reduction in treatment costs:
Invest in improving the health of your employees and their families, and also discover savings in healthcare expenses and reduction in lost work time when you enroll in the Know Your Lemons at Work program today.

You insure your employees as well as their families. By limiting the program just to the women you employ, you are missing a significant number of those you insure. By including all employees in this engaging program, you support your employees to help improve the health of themselves as well as their families.
The way the program educates is quite unique, in that it doesn't show breasts and works for any gender as it uses lemons to educate.
While men can get breast cancer, it's also about strengthening health discussions at home. When men are involved the impact for saving lives grows substantially.
