Healthcare Partnerships
Increase breast cancer screening rates, early breast cancer detection, and community breast health knowledge through a partnership with Know Your Lemons!
Screening Clinic
A Know Your Lemons® (KYL) Screening Clinic is one that has patient education as a priority to reduce deaths from breast cancer by promoting screening and symptom awareness. These clinics use KYL tools to help patients understand the importance of mammograms and the steps to take if they notice a change.
Affiliated Know Your Lemons® Screening Clinics commit to educate every patient in their clinic and to be active in community outreach initiatives to educate those who are yet to step foot inside a screening center. They are part of a global effort to change the picture of breast cancer by empowering women—no matter their age, literacy level, ethnicity or where they live.
Health Systems and Payors
Know Your Lemons materials make it easier for PCPs to communicate to patients across demographics. We work with integrated hospital systems on their employee health and wellness campaigns to small non-profit clinics to support their work with co-branded materials to increase screening uptake and everything in between. Give us a shout to see where you fit.
Our payor program works with insurance company customers to identify low-performing groups and then develop and test a specific, strategic plan to increase rates within those groups.
Cancer Control Program
Want to include Know Your Lemons as part of your state's Cancer Control Program?
We provide education and community outreach activities to encourage breast screening, we support patient navigators and community health workers (CHW) who help remove barriers to accessing cancer information and services. Our materials work successfully at county health fairs, are effective as mailings, and work across disparate populations. We also work within health systems to improve quality of services.
