Educator Highlight: Natalya Alekseeva

“My initial impression of the 12 signs of breast cancer image was that everything was simple. Simple and understandable. My patients need it.”

Natalya Alekseeva is our wonderful volunteer educator from Nizhegorodskaya, Russia. She is an oncologist who loves to show our materials to her patients because it is better to show them what to look out for rather than telling them. Natalya says that it is so necessary for this information to be translated into more languages so that it can educate more people.

“My initial impression of the 12 signs of breast cancer image was that everything was simple. Simple and understandable. My patients need it.”

Natalya speaks further about her motivation to teach by saying,

“My patients motivate me to learn. They have different histories, different characteristics. Even breast cancer. It is important for me that even after breast cancer treatment, women live fully.”

We rely on your donations to send educational materials to our educators like Natalya who live in countries outside the USA. Please help us educate the world by donating to our cause.

Transcription: Hello my name is Alekseeva, Natalya.  I am a doctor and an oncologist from Russia from Nizhegorodskaya. What inspired me to become an educator for KYL? These lemons! I show this picture many times everyday and my patients remember it better than a long lecture about breast cancer. I am so happy I have gotten to know the Know Your Lemons foundation, it really helps to make the world of women healthy!
