Empowering Women Through Early Breast Cancer Detection: A Partnership with Bexa Equity Alliance

As the Founding Executive Director of Bexa Equity Alliance (BEA), I am thrilled to share our mission and excitement for our partnership with Know Your Lemons. At BEA, we are dedicated to providing life-saving, early breast cancer detection to women of color and underserved women. This mission is deeply personal to me, as it stems from my own journey as a cancer survivor and a woman of color who understands the importance of accessible healthcare.

The statistics surrounding breast cancer among women of color are alarming, with rising incidence rates and disparities in access to quality healthcare. Through our partnership, we aim to address these disparities head-on and ensure that no woman is left behind when it comes to early detection.

Our organization is excited to collaborate with Know Your Lemons to amplify our impact and reach even more women in need. Together, we can raise awareness, provide resources, and advocate for policies that prioritize early detection and equitable healthcare access for all.
