Allison Hancock: A Leader with a Personal Connection
At the heart of Breast Friends is their Executive Director, Allison Hancock, a 20-year breast cancer survivor. Her personal experience with both diagnosis and survivorship drives her deep passion for supporting others who are going through similar experiences.
Allison first joined Breast Friends as a volunteer in 2013 and became the Executive Director in 2018. Since then, she has worked tirelessly to expand their programs, strengthen community outreach, and ensure that every individual impacted by breast cancer feels supported and empowered. Her vision and leadership continue to inspire their work and drive them toward a future where no one has to navigate a breast cancer diagnosis alone.
