Know Your Lemons App honored with 4th Webby Award
The Know Your Lemons Foundation, which delivers creative and approachable lifesaving breast health education for early detection of breast cancer, honored by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.
(SALT LAKE CITY, UT — 10 APRIL 2024) – The Know Your Lemons Foundation announced today that its Know Your Lemons app has been named as an honoree in the Health and Fitness App category in the 28th Annual Webby Awards.
Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet. Earning the distinction of Webby Honoree, as recognized by our judging academy, the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, is a significant achievement.
Know Your Lemons improves early detection of breast cancer worldwide through creative and empowering education through three initiatives: the free, Know Your Lemons early detection app, breast health classes taught by their network of more than 900 trained volunteer educators and Global Partnership Network in 65+ countries, and the popular eye-catching global #knowyourlemons campaign available on social, in print, and online in 30+ languages.
